All permits and accreditations required by investors will be processed at the One Stop Centre of the Rwanda Development Board beginning in March 2023. The objective is to enhance service delivery and give investors a true one-stop shop experience.
This is another step toward easing the economic climate in Rwanda.
Among the available licenses and permissions are:
Capital Market Licensing: Investors to receive information and assistance in applying for licenses. They include, but are not limited to, investment management licenses, investment advisory service licenses, investment fund formation licenses, security exchange licenses, commodities exchange trading licenses, depositary licenses, and credit rating licenses.
Financial Services Licensing: Investors to receive guidance and support on licensing and regulatory compliance, as well as information on the financial sector and its legal and administrative requirements.
Investment Registration Services: The desk enables the registration of local, foreign, and joint venture investments in Rwanda, as well as the application for and collecting of investment certificates. Visitors are provided with information regarding investment prospects and the business climate in Rwanda. In conjunction with Aftercare services, this desk assists investors with expansion plans, resolves investment-related issues, and addresses any investment-related concerns in Rwanda.
The One Stop Centre is located on the ground floor of the RDB Head Office at KN 5 Road, KG 9 Avenue, Gishushu. It is open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The One Stop Centre is also available here.
